Sensitive surfaces such as windows or solar systems require a correspondingly gentle cleaning method in order to rule out damage. The brush with soft and spliced bristles protects the sensitive glass and yet still cleans thoroughly - either with pure water or at high pressure. For this, it can be easily and quickly connected to a water-bearing telescopic lance or a high-pressure lance from Kärcher. A nozzle kit for pure water or a 25° high-pressure nozzle guarantee both applications.

The WS 100 mobile water softening unit eliminates annoying residues on clean surfaces. Depending on the region, lime residue remains on clean photovoltaic modules due to limy water. This reduces the yield and should be avoided at all costs. For professional use, Kärcher offers two mobile water softening units that are easy to transport for installation between tap and high-pressure cleaner. An ion-exchange resin removes the dissolved limescale from the water and reduces the degree of hardness to 0–1 °dH. There are no streaks or lime residue after drying. The exchange resin can be replaced at the touch of a button with the optional regeneration system. The WS 100 has a softening capacity of 10,000 l (at 10° dh).

With the WS Regenerator regeneration system, the softening cartridges of the water softening units WS 50 and WS 100 can be regenerated and used several times. The WS Regenerator works according to the principle of the ion-exchange operation at neutral exchange. The regeneration agent is softening soft. The WS Regenerator impresses particularly when used frequently as the most economic model for producing soft water. The automatic backflushing at the control valve is activated at the push of a button. The individual regeneration phases are automatically run by the camshaft at the predefined intervals.
